Utica began the day with a fantastic pitching performance from Ryan Alesandro, who went 8 innings, scattered 7 hits and stuck out 5.  Dan Priore drove in Matt Scotellaro in the bottom of the 7th with the game tying run.  The lead was short-lived as Utica fell in extra innings.

The nightcap was another late inning loss.  The game was tied at 4 from the third inning.  Mike Lackey, Dave Diodati, and Nick Maldonado each had a hit and RBI for Utica.  Sal Carollo took the loss on the mound.  Pitching 3 innings of relief Sal yielded an unearned run in the bottom of the 7th inning.
